It is obtained from the second distillation of pineapple must to agave, to which dilution water has been added in order to obtain a specific volume of alcohol. It is the most popular class of tequila as well as the most commercialized in México and the world. As the name implies, it is the same white tequila that has been put to rest for a minimum of two months and a maximum of twelve in oak barrels, in order to be susceptible to being aged. The result is a drink with notes of wood and slightly aromatic.

A vintage is one that, according to the standard, has spent a minimum of twelve months at rest and a maximum of three years in oak or oak barrels, whose maximum capacity should not exceed 600 liters. Being longer in contact with the wood intensifies the wood notes and the sweet aroma.
